WHO THE SUMMIT IS FOR?
The VMC Summit, 2024 - "The Way Forward: A Journey of Evolutionary Transformation for Moms," aims to provide a platform for women and moms to unite and discuss various aspects in - their personal and professional growth. With a focused development in maternal mental health, financial wellness and equality in the workforce. The summit serves as an opportunity to explore new ideas, share experiences, and engage in meaningful conversations. Attendees can expect thought-provoking discussions led by experts in the fields of STEAM, finance, policy, interactive entrepreneurial workshops, networking opportunities, and much more. VMC is a community created by working Moms as a response to the pandemic. This year we welcomed six new incoming VMC Mother Board Chairs. We offer support and community engagement through an open mother mentoring program and newly launched member app. Our programming is hosted and led by female motivational speakers who own their own business and/or work in female led positions in the workforce or their own place of business. We partner with brands who align with our mission and sponsor our Motherhood focused offerings. Our mission is to support and empower women and mothers in the work place during every facet of Motherhood.

The summit will go live on March 2, 2024 from 10 am – 2 pm at the Frost Art Museum at Florida International University.

VMC SUMMIT SPEAKER applications are Now OPEN until Dec, 31, 2023. Early Bird pricing will be available Nov. 1 2023 until February 1, 2024. There will be a post-summit price for lifetime access to the all-recordings/playback interviews via the VMC APP. If you wish to sponsor and donate to our Mother Mentor Grant. You can do so here. We will be awarding this grant to a woman in our community who will use these funds to invest in their business baby. Access to recordings and social media reels will be available to you via our VMC App post summit.

Danielle Cohen Higgins was elected as the District 8 Commissioner on the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners on August 23, 2022. She was originally appointed to office on December 7, 2020.
