Are you the person who loves making systems smooth, organized, and reliable? We’re looking for a Tech Chair to strengthen the operational backbone of VMC—keeping our tools, workflows, and tech initiatives running cleanly so the mission can scale.
About Virtual Mom Collective (VMC)
Virtual Mom Collective is a nationally recognized nonprofit created by mothers, for mothers — and women for women. We’ve been recognized as a Top 10 Nonprofit by Entreprenista, received awards from the City of Homestead, are proud Thelma Gibson Award recipients, and received a proclamation from the Miami-Dade County Mayor recognizing VMC and our annual Bridging the Gap fundraiser. We’ve also been featured on Mom 2.0 as influencer partners and panelists—spotlighting the impact of programs built by mothers, for mothers.
What you’ll do
- Support and improve VMC’s core tech systems in collaboration with the Founder (website/platform updates, day-to-day troubleshooting, integrations, vendor/tool coordination, performance support, and process documentation)
- Set up or refine forms + email workflows + automations that reduce manual work
- Support event tech + registration workflows so experiences run smoothly
- Create simple SOPs/how-to guides so the team can confidently operate systems
- Collaborate with leadership on tech strategy (what to improve now vs. later)
- Support the launch and adoption of a new virtual tool (GPT-based) and help integrate it into the VMC ecosystem in a simple and strategic way.
- Help working moms leverage technology for workflow management (so tools reduce overwhelm, not add to it)
- Host or coordinate simple, practical workshops that build tool usage and tech confidence
- Advocate for accessibility so our tools and tech resources work for moms in every season and stage
- Lead and/or coordinate a Tech Panel at the VMC Summit, including speaker outreach, topic development, and panel run-of-show (in partnership with the events team)
